OWON XSA1015TG Spectrum Analyser
Just arrived at the shack is a new OWON XSA1015TG spectrum analyser! An amazing unit which will feature in future videos and covers all frequencies we could ever need. It’s a lot bigger than I was expecting but is a well-built solid unit with a very clear and easy to read screen.
XSA1015TG Spectrum Analyzer Specifications:
- Frequency Range from 9 kHz up to1.5 GHz
- 150dBm Displayed Average Noise Level
- Phase Noise -85dBc/Hz @1Gz and offset at 10KHz
- Total Amplitude Accuracy <1.5dB
- 10Hz Minimum Resolution Bandwidth (RBW)
- EMI Pre-compliance Test Kit
- Up to 1.5 GHz Tracking Generator Kit (Opt.)
- 10.4 inches display
Just remember if you’re buying a spectrum analyser to ensure that you only pump in signals under 1W! So, get an antenna tap / signal sampler / take off box to ensure you don’t blow the front end. If you need help with where to buy a signal take off box let me know and I can provide more info. The unit we have is a 500W -50dB RF Sampler attenuator 0.5 to 150 MHz but as spend most of the time in the 10-, 11- and 12-meter bands its perfect for us.
